The Napier Company, founded in 1875, started its operations as a manufacturer of jewelry. During WWI (and later during WWII), Napier ceased its jewelry production and focused on producing war-related items. In the 1920s, Napier developed a line of barware, styled after Parisian and European designs discovered at the 1925 World’s Fair in Paris. After WWII, Napier chose to refocus its business solely on jewelry production and continues to do so today.

Beautifully Engraved Solid Brass coffee/pepper Mill Functional and Decorative Weighs 2lbs.
found on the web
A century ago, whenever the Greek army was on the march, they carried, guns, ammunition, and supplies—including hand-cranked brass coffee mills just like these. (Pity their American counterparts, who had to make do with instant.) Slightly tweaked to be more suited for salt and pepper, their adjustable steel grinding mechanisms can produce coarse to very fine grinds, seven times faster than ordinary salt and pepper mills. Though the originals were purely utilitarian, to our modern eyes, they’re handsome enough to occupy your dinner party. Made in Greece.

Following I FOUND ON THE INTERNET
Mustache cups were popular from 1850 to 1900 when the large, flowing mustache was in style. A ledge of china or silver held the hair out of the liquid in the cup. This kept the mustache tidy and also kept the mustache wax from melting. Harvey Adams and Company of Longton, Staffordshire, England made the first mustache cup about 1850. Left-handed mustache cups are rare but are being reproduced. Mustache cups were popular from 1850 to 1900 when the large, flowing mustache was in style.
